HPPECC has updated its Birthday Loan Policy in response to members' feedback during the recent General Assembly. A lot of members have suggested to remove the co-maker requirement for Birthday Loans so that those members who are unable to find a co-maker will still be able to avail. But as much as the request is valid, there are risks that need to be considered. Thus, the Board worked with the Credit Committee for a solution while at the same time protecting Members' Equity.
The new Birthday Loan Policy not only removed the co-maker requirement, but also doubled the maximum loanable amount. Members may now avail of up to P20,000 Birthday Loan subject to the following conditions:
Notes:
- A member will only be allowed to borrow up to the maximum loanable amount based on his/her HPPECC tenure.
- The original Birthday Loan of P10,000 payable in 6 months with 3-month HPPECC tenure and 1 co-maker requirement will still be available.
- To avail of the new Birthday Loan, please use the updated Loan Application Form in the website (go to www.hppecc.com --> Login --> Member's Area).
