The success of any food service organization is in the quality of its menu. And the chef plays a crucial role in that aspect. Apart from creating delicious food and excellent customer service, the chef must have the technical proficiency to prepare different types of dishes. He/she must be familiar with the different techniques, equipment, ingredients, and flavors to be able to deliver mouth-watering meals every time.
HPP Cafe Executive Chef, Juan Valenzuela, recently attended a workshop on Thai cuisine in Bangkok, Thailand where he mastered the art of preparing Thai dishes. From the workshop, Chef Juan discovered how to use traditional Thai herbs and spices and learned various tips and techniques in Thai cooking directly from renowned professional Thai chef, Chef Chay.
With his new skills, we hope to incorporate some Thai selections in HPP Cafe's menu soon. Stay tuned!
