HPPECC was recognized by the Cooperative Development Authority - Manila Extension Office (CDA-MEO) during the Gawad Parangal Awards held at the Winford Hotel in Manila on Sep 20, 2018. The CDA-MEO has cited HPPECC saying that its "best practices and good governance are worth emulating".

Janet Abrigo, HPPECC Admin Assistant, received the award for the cooperative.
